At Dear Emilia, we are thrilled to continue our Apericena Wine Education series, using this relaxed format as an educational platform where wine takes center stage, beautifully complemented by a lighter, multi-course dinner.

For this special installment, join our Wine Director, Scott Thomas, as we journey through Piedmont's diverse landscape—from towering peaks on the French and Swiss borders to the UNESCO hills of the Langhe. Scott will lead an immersive experience unpacking the vibrant nuances of i vini del Piemonte, focusing on the wines we are super jazzed about right now, calling it the "B-side" of Piedmont.

Together, we will taste nine wines, ranging from crisp whites like Timorasso, Erbaluce, and Arneis, to off-the-beaten-path reds like Freisa, Pelaverga, and Grignolino, alongside the noble Nebbiolo (think beyond Barolo/Barbaresco). While you sip, our culinary team will serve curated stuzzicchini (small bites), a dedicated pasta course, and dessert designed to match every glass.
